Foodservice Training Consultants Ltd provides excellent commercial kitchen equipment repair services for clients across Leicestershire.

Anthony Lee; founder, company director and catering engineer

Initially training as an electrical engineer, Anthony moved into domestic appliance repairs as a white goods field service engineer for Comet, working on cutting edge technology such as halogen, microwave and induction cookers. 

Following this, Anthony joined the Gerard Gamble Group and became a technical manager, trouble-shooting obscure faults and taking responsibility for training engineers nationwide for their gas qualifications and specialised equipment repairs. In particular, he worked with Garland, Frymaster and Houno products, as well as pressure boilers and ware-washing equipment. Anthony also assisted in developing containerised kitchens, where complete commercial kitchens were fitted into modified sea containers capable of being transported by lorry, providing temporary cooking facilities.

Foodservice Training Ltd - The beginning

Anthony left to set up Foodservice Training Consultants Ltd in 1999, as an independent training school for gas engineers. However, shortly after forming, gas regulations changed which involved longer periods of re-training for gas engineers. Returning to his engineering roots, Anthony decided to focus on catering equipment repairs and maintenance as the primary business, rather than training.

After 24+ years of trading, we have a large client base throughout Leicestershire, who have come to rely on us for our expertise and knowledge.  By providing a bespoke, friendly service to all of our customers, we believe that our service is second to none. We know that repairing things is so much more than replacing parts until the problem goes away!  With probably the best diagnostic skills around, we only change the right parts needed to fix the problem.
